k.l. was born 1959 and grew up in davos (swiss alps). he started taking pictures when he was 12 years old and learned about photography from an older  photographer with NIKON equipment. his first camera was an affordable PRAKTICA.

since 1998 his work has been published on many websites and from 2006 on in several books .

2007 he got three nominations for the BLACK & WHITE SPIDER AWARD, london.

2010 his first 400-pages book CURVES was launched and has sold thousands of copies so far.

2011 his photo ORO was in the winners gallery of the PHOTOGRAPHY MASTERS CUP, london.

he works with and organizes private coachings, workshops, photo-weekends and every year a phototrip to sardinia.
